Dear God Help me to make the best use of this day. Make my eyes attentive, to see, only what they should see. Make my ears listen carefully, to what, they should hear. Guard my tongue, so that, when it speaks it will speak well. Give light to my mind, so that it will learn all that will make me good and drive away all, that will make me bad.

Almighty and everlasting father, we thank you that you have brought us safely, to the beginning of this day.
Keep us from falling into sin or running into danger. Order us in all our doing. And guide us to do always; what is right in your eyes.

O God Bless us this day. Be with us in our work and in our play. Give us good health and strength. Help us to be good, obedient and honest. Bless our parents and our teachers and when the day is over, bring us safely to a night of rest and peace.

Lord, make us the instrument of Thy peace.
Where there is hatred, let is sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is discord, union;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy;
For your mercy and for your truth's sake.
